As we work as a community to prepare for the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the safety of our students and staff remains our primary concern. As a result, following the PM’s announcement last night, LSU has taken the decision to temporarily suspend all non-essential activity and services until further notice to adhere to the stricter social-distancing recommendations.
We will be gradually scaling back our retail provision to ensure those who are unable to leave campus can access food and key essentials. The Union Building Shop will remain open until Friday 27th March, with reduced opening hours (9.00am-1.00pm) Wednesday through to Friday.
The Purple Onion Shop will remain open until Tuesday 24th March at 4.00pm.
As you will be aware, the Coronavirus crisis has sadly had a direct impact on the activities and services that we provide to you, as a result of these operational changes some of our team may be working different hours (due to childcare or other personal factors) or may be working at a reduced capacity due to the streamlining of our services.

LSU Advice Service provides independent, confidential and non-judgemental advice for students and researchers both at the Loughborough and Loughborough London Campus.
We are there to support students through difficult times with their studies and a variety of University formal processes including, but not limited to, academic misconduct, appealing results, disciplinary offences, mitigating circumstances or if they want to make a complaint about the University.
