Want to take control of your education experience and get involved in the Students’ Union? Nominate yourself to be a Course Rep!
At Loughborough Students’ Union we want to make sure that every student has the best possible academic experience while studying at Loughborough. This covers everything from university facilities, lectures and module content to study spaces and resources. We want to know all of your constructive or positive feedback related to your studies!
We need student feedback so we can constantly make improvements, and this is where our team of volunteer Course Reps come in! Every year students on every course can elect a Course Rep whose responsibility is to gather feedback from students and feed this information back to the Students’ Union and University through regular communications and termly meetings. We provide our Course Reps with training and support throughout the academic year, and every department will also have a School President lead who will offer guidance and oversee all Student and Staff meetings.
As well as making a positive impact on how your course is run, you’ll be also developing your leadership, listening, time management and organisational abilities – which are all essential workplace skills that look great on your CV. Becoming a Course Rep is a fantastic way to meet new people, make a positive impact and improve the education element of your overall Loughborough experience. Find out more information here.
Whether this would be your first time as a Course Rep or you want to continue your role for another year, you will need to nominate yourself online so that students on your course can vote for who they want to represent their views and feedback.
