As a result of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the UK (particularly the Omicron variant), we have made the decision to cancel this week's remaining club nights including Hey Ewe, Incognito, and FND.

Whilst we're aware that nightclubs can still legally operate under the current Government guidelines, we have noticed a rise in concern from students who are worried about the transmission of COVID-19 within large venues. For the safety of our members, we have made the decision to cancel our large-scale events for the remainder of the term.

Furthermore, we are aware that anyone receiving a positive COVID-19 test result between the 14th and 24th December 2021 would be required to isolate over the Christmas period. After a busy term, we want all of our students and staff members to be able to return home safely to see their friends and families.

All original ticket holders will be automatically refunded over the next couple of weeks. We are unable to refund Season Pass tickets, as they have no monetary value and the financial savings that come from buying a Season Pass outvalue the three events we had to cancel. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Our smaller venues, John Cooper's and The Lounge, will remain open until 11pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. For the safety of other students and our staff, we recommend that you take a lateral flow test before visiting if you are not vaccinated, wear a mask when moving indoors, and observe social distancing measures.

We would like to thank you for your cooperation throughout this first term.

Stay safe, and we hope you all have a wonderful Winter break!
