The LSU Conservative Society is made up of Loughborough Students who support or belong to the Conservative Party.

We offer a chance for like-minded students with an interest in Conservative Politics to join together.

Throughout the year we hold socials and political-themed events, including debates, meeting with MPs, trips to Westminster and political campaigns. We also work with the local Conservative Association to engage students in local politics.

We are open to anyone and you can do as much, or as little as you wish. Joining our society is a great way to engage in politics especially if you have never been involved before.

Our events planned for this year include:

-       Welcome drinks with Jane Hunt MP, Tuesday October 13

-       Collaboration with the Debate and Labour Societies on the question of “Should Higher education be free”, Friday October 16

-       “An evening with Baroness Nicky Morgan”, Tuesday November 10

-       Social Events such as quizzes

-       Invitations to virtual and in-person Branch Dinners and Association Events

-       Trip to Westminster

-       Leafletting and Spoons events

-       Collaborations with other societies

-       Many other events to follow...
