Flix Cinema

Whether you are just joining us at Loughborough or are a returner, Flix Student Run Cinema has got a great line up of films for you. Take a look at our schedule to see for yourself!

We operate with professional cinema equipment to give you the best experience possible at a fraction of the price of a mainstream cinema.

We were established in 1946, so this year we are celebrating our 72nd year of entertainment in Loughborough!

What do we do?

We are run entirely by volunteers. There are plenty of opportunities for our members to dip their toes (or dive headlong) into the wider film industry, all the while enjoying good films.

We are back this year with a new regular day and new direction. We are now the only student run independent arts cinema in Loughborough. We are showing the best selection of independent and international films that will appeal to all audiences. This amazing variety of films will be shown regularly on Thursday (during term time) at 7pm for £4 or £2 for members.

We also run a discussion group after called TalkFlix to discuss anything and everything you want about the film we have just shown.

The international films that are shown are funded and have no ticket price so keep your eye out for those on our website!

Where are we?

We are based out of the Cope Auditorium next to the Art School and College.
